LifeQuest also has a full understanding that most people desire freedom, yet few people are truly free. Most are consumed with struggling for their financial liberty. In their struggle just to get by and to make ends meet, we have little time to explore the true elements of our life’s Purpose that provides Happiness. Many are dangerously close to losing, or have already lost, the very essence of what it means to truly embrace a meaningful, awe-inspiring life.
The largest contributing factor to a feeling of personal failure today is financial. It affects you physically, spiritually, mentally and emotionally. Unless you make some drastic changes in your life, you may never recover from the chains of debt that keep most people from ever embracing the dreams of their lives. Dual income families can barely make ends meet. With increased fuel costs and other tax considerations, inflation is not just a thing of the past. There is so much of life that is not being explored because our lives are generally structured to earn just enough of an income in order to pay the debt. The reality is we keep accumulating debt based on what we believe the income will continue to be. Things change, stuff happens and soon the bills are higher than the income-ask anyone caught up in the current adjustable mortgage rate debacle. To make matters worse we are doing work that does not stir our spirit, and the rewards that we do experience are the same old materialistic ones that give very little real satisfaction. Most of us have placed ourselves into massive financial debt which diminishes our very spirit and soul. It goes against the very essence of life that God gave us and the expectation to create something worthwhile in this life. Worthwhile is not about gathering the family around the dinner table to figure out which bill to pay next.
We also live in a world of huge multi-national corporations that have no real concern with your Health, Wealth or Happiness. There is little loyalty from these corporations, and layoffs of their employees are certain as new technologies make it possible to eliminate them. Not only is the labor force being replaced more and more by technological advances, but with the economic shift toward the service sector, coupled with the interconnectivity of the Internet, jobs can be replaced by a lower priced employee halfway around the globe. Big business does not care about its customers’ spirit it only cares about perpetuating its customers’ lifestyles that will eventually improve their bottom line.
